More from the Marvel Studios open house in Los Angeles this week, where head honcho Kevin Feige held court and doled out some juicy details about the future of the MCU. Feige confirmed that Spider-Man will be making an appearance in Avengers 4, and also affirmed that Marvel won’t be making R-rated movies.
At the same time, they also screened some footage of the much anticipated Black Panther, whose main character, T’Challa (played by Chadwick Boseman), was first introduced in Captain American: Civil War.
The footage included scenes of Lupita Nyong’o beating up armed men as Nakia, one of T’Challa’s bodyguards, as well as Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and Ulyssess Klaw (Andy Serkis) sharing a scene where they trade barbed one-liners.
There was also footage of Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Zuri (Forest Whitaker), but none of Micheal B. Jordan, who plays the villain Erik Killmonger. Still, this is more than we expected at this point in time, especially since Black Panther literally only just wrapped shooting.
Looked so good I ate my own face. Sweet Toothed Panther. #BlackPanther
