The Infinity War trailer has only been shown in public twice so far: once at D23, and once at San Diego Comic Con (and Cinemaniac Diana was lucky enough to be at both unveilings!). While we wait ever so impatiently for Marvel to put it up on YouTube, co-director Joe Russo has been busy talking about the massive project he’s undertaken with his brother and directing partner Anthony.
Speaking with MTV News, Russo – who came to Singapore with the Civil War cast in 2016 – hinted that Infinity War might be the swan song for some key characters:
“I think fans should be prepared for some very intense surprises in these movies. My brother [Anthony Russo] and I believe in stakes…I believe that everything has to come to an end at some point in order for it to have value…I think the audience should be prepared.”
Man, I’m still in mourning for the death that happened in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 (see our review) and now they gotta go hint at this?
Avengers: Infinity War opens in Singapore on April 26, 2018.
