Star Wars fans, rejoice. All Nippon Airway’s lovable Boeing 787 with the R2-D2 paint scheme will be making a stop in Singapore!

Singapore’s Changi Airport will be the first Asian airport outside of Japan to welcome the astromech droid-inspired airliner on Nov 12.

Fans also have a chance to win tickets to board the plane as part of an event on Nov 14, via contests on the ANA website or Changi Airport’s Facebook page, where 20 pairs of tickets can be won.

The winners will get to tour the aircraft, watch a Star Wars movie (hopefully not the prequels) and have a meal in a business class seat.

When you think about it, that sure beats R2-D2’s deal in the franchise. He has to fly on the outside.

ANA also has a BB-8-themed jet to be unveiled in November, as well as another R2-D2 next March. Come on, Singapore Airlines – you know you want the Darth Vader/Chrome Trooper-themed ones.
