Now that Supergirl is at The CW, there’s only one thing left to do: A MASSIVE Flash-Supergirl-Arrow-Legends of Tomorrow crossover. But which villain is worthy of a match up with our favourite DC heroes?
It’s the Dominators, says Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow EP Marc Guggenheim:
“This year, for our mega ‘Arrowverse’ crossover, we’re taking inspiration from a DC crossover from the late 1980s known as Invasion!, which featured an alien race called the Dominators, who’d previously vexed the Legion of Superheroes. We’re using cutting edge prosthetics and computer effects to achieve a feature film-quality look which is faithful to Invasion! artist Todd McFarlane’s interpretation of the characters.”

If you need a bit more context, just think of the Dominators as DC’s version of the Kree or the Skrull. In the 1989 crossover storyline Invasion!, the Dominators formed an alliance with other alien races to invade Earth, in order to eliminate metahumans.
Given how well received the Flash-Supergirl and Flash-Arrow crossovers have been, it’s little surprise that The CW is bringing all its characters together. Now, all they need is a coherent storyline and enough screen time for one and all.
