We’ve had a stream of trailers and teasers coming out last week, with Terminator: Can’t Spell For Nuts But Can Spoil For Everything Else and many many Avengers: Age of Ultron teasers, not to mention Star Wars (squee!).

Perhaps DC was feeling a little left out, perhaps it had something to do with the leaked copy online, but Warner Bros. has decided to release the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer earlier than scheduled.

The trailer shows the aftermath to Man of Steel, a world divided over Henry Cavill’s Superman, and some people don’t really want him around. Can you really blame them after all that death and destruction he and Zod caused at the end of the last movie?

Some people, of course, seem to worship him, including what appear to be soldiers kneeling to him. Well, Ben Affleck’s Batman ain’t having any of that.

With a voice even growlier than Christian Bale (which I didn’t think was possible, at least, not from him), an armoured Batfleck faces off against Superman.

“Tell me… do you bleed?”

“You will.”

We also get a few shots of the Batmobile blowing stuff up, and one shot of Batman being all Batman/Arrow/Daredevil/Spider-Man/anyone who stands on a tall building overlooking a city.

It’s nothing too spoiler-ish. I mean, we already know they’re facing off thanks to the movie title. Some people have speculated that one of the voiceovers belongs to Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor. I’m not entirely sure, but I’ll leave you to decide for yourself.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in March 2016.

What did you think of the trailer? Liking what you see so far? Let us know!
