The Geek Gods have smiled upon us, for today sees the unveiling of not one, but two trailers for the long-awaited Spider-Man: Homecoming. There’s a US trailer and an international trailer, but trust us, the international one is better.
Not only do we get our first glimpse of Michael Keaton as the Vulture, but we also get to see RDJ’s Tony Stark giving some…confusing words of wisdom to his young protégé. And that last shot of Iron Man and Spidey is just way, WAY awesome!
The only footage of Homecoming I’d previously seen was the sneak peek they played at San Diego Comic Con, which mostly involved scenes of Peter Parker hanging out with his friends in school. But I gotta say, this first trailer looks seriously promising, and I can’t wait to see what else is in store.
For comparison’s sake, here’s the US trailer, which includes some of the school scenes I mentioned earlier. I do like the international trailer better, it’s a neater introduction and makes full use of (what I suspect is) the requisite RDJ cameo.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is tentatively scheduled to be released in Singapore on 6 July 2017.
