Comic Con starts today! And in the lead up to the FTWD press event tomorrow, AMC has released a couple more teasers for Fear The Walking Dead.

At the beginning of The Walking Dead, the zombie apocalypse was already in full swing.

This time round, we get to see the very start of viral outbreak. And the sense of impending doom that hangs over the FTWD teasers thus far is doing an excellent job of creating tension.

First up – a group of teenagers just skating in the park and minding their own business. What could possibly go wrong?

Next – suburban mom unloads groceries from her car, not knowing what’s slowly, slowly creeping up to her.

Meanwhile, AMC has also released a brief, behind-the-scenes look at FTWD, where executive producer David Alpert promises a “gritty” Los Angeles backdrop to the story.

The words of Kim Dickens, who plays guidance counsellor Madison Bennett, are pretty telling: “I haven’t worked with any of the walkers yet. I’m kinda scared. I don’t know what they’re gonna look like.”

So it’s gonna be slow, slow burn then.

Don’t forget – our very own Opinionated Geek JM Wong will be covering the FTWD press event tomorrow. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram for the latest on the undead!
