It wasn’t too long ago that HBO released the first trailer for the highly anticipated Season 7 of Game of Thrones, as well as some exciting new images, but if you thought that was exciting, then you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

There’s so much happening in this trailer that I’m tempted to break it down frame by frame, but if you were waiting to see more dragons, more battles, and more of the main players in Westeros, then this trailer has all of that.

We’ve got Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) giving Sansa (Sophie Turner) some advice…but at what personal cost to her? There are also scenes of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) going beyond the wall and glimpses of unrest in King’s Landing while Cersei (Lena Headey) plots in her dark corner. There too, is Arya (Maisie Williams) and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), before we see Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) striding across the beach on what I assume is the Westerosi coast, the first time she’s ever stepped foot on the land she was born to rule.

All of this is set to the haunting strains of “The Light of the Seven” from last year’s explosive season finale, which is only making me ever more impatient for the Season 7 premiere. Winter might finally be here, but we’ve still got a couple of weeks before it’s July 16.

We also have some new images from Game of Thrones season 7, courtesy of HBO Asia.
