The Inhumans are coming to town! The first two episodes of Marvel’s Inhumans will premiere exclusively in IMAX cinemas in the US, and audiences in Singapore will get to catch it too.

From August 31, you can catch the two episodes exclusively in IMAX cinemas for two weeks. According to a Shaw Organisation spokesman, the first two episodes were shot entirely with the new ALEXA IMAX 65mm cameras. This is a next-generation revolutionary 2D digital camera.

“When combined with IMAX’s digital re-mastering process, (the camera) delivers the highest level of digital image capture and playback resulting in stunning lifelike images with pristine clarity, incredibly fine detail, vivid colours and a higher dynamic range for superior contrast,” said the spokesman.

In case you needed reminding, here’s the synopsis for Marvel’s Inhumans again:

“After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”

Details on screening times and ticket prices will be released in due course. In the meantime, just check out the first trailer.

Marvel’s Inhumans, headlined by Game of Thrones’ Iwan Rheon and starring Anson Mount, Serinda Swan and more, premieres exclusively in IMAX cinemas for two weeks from August 31.
