We’ve already had heavy hints of Samurai World, especially with the casting of Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada in Westworld season 2. But prepare yourselves: we may also get Roman World and Medieval World.
Speaking at the 2017 Vanity Fair Summit, Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy hinted that the two new theme parks may be introduced in the next season. Asked why Roman World and Medieval World were left out of the first season, Nolan responded: “We had to save something for Season 2.”
Both theme parks were included in Michael Crichton’s original 1973 movie. But given the scope of the Westworld production, we may be in for a Game of Thrones-level mythos. And what are the odds that some awesome battle scenes are on the way?
